Alfa Romeo Giulietta Sprint Speciale: la preferita dagli Americani

Dopo aver lavorato su molte di queste auto era doveroso scrivere un post che parlasse della Giulietta Sprint Speciale ed in particolare in questo post parleremo della tappezzeria per quest’auto. Produciamo spesso per i nostri clienti esteri gli interni per quest’auto in diversi colori a secondo della richiesta del cliente, cercando sempre e comunque di mantenere l’originalità. La tappezzeria che vedete nella foto verrà spedita negli Stati Uniti d’America. Ovviamente dalla foto potete solo immaginare il risultato finale, dato che la tappezzeria verrà montata dal cliente americano stesso sui sedili, però potere capirne la sagoma e i colori utilizzati. Il materiale utilizzato è ovviamente la vipla, in questo caso nei colori grigio scuro e grigio chiaro a contrasto. L’associazione dei due colori è stata scelta dal nostro cliente. Nella foto sotto, invece, la stessa tappezzeria è stata realizzata nel colore rosso abbinata al tessuto biancospino, detto anche sale e pepe. Nei prossimi post pubblicheremo foto dei pannelli, del tappeto in moquette e dello schienale posteriore.

After working on many Giuliettas SS, writing a post about the seats upholstery of this car was a must! We ship many interiors sets to the USA and to Netherlands and it seems that Americans especially love this car and Alfas in general! The upholstery in the picture above will ship in fact to US.  The color chosen by our customer is dark gray and light gray and obviously the upholstery is made of vinyl. The customer will install by himself the upholstery on the car seats, so unfortunately you will not see the final result unless the customer will send me some pics! In the picture below the upholstery has been produced in red vinyl and biancospino cloth, the so called salt and pepper cloth. In my next posts I will write about the rest of the car interiors: panels, carpet set and headliner.

I got this pics from an America customer which explained me that his original upholstery does not have what we can call “pockets” and that you see in the pics. The very interesting thing is that in 50 years of working on so many classic Giulietta Spiders here in Italy, we never worked on one that had no “pockets”. In this post, I also link you to a video of the upholstery to show you better. Especially if you are not Italian, and you are thinking to buy a new upholstery for your Giulietta Spider by Elvezio, please let us know if your original upholstery does have or doesn’t have the so called “pockets”. Ho ricevuto le foto che vedete nell’album sopra da un cliente americano al quale abbiamo fornito la tappezzeria per la sua Giulietta Spider. Nelle foto e nel video in questo post, il cliente ci ha spiegato che la sua tappezzeria originale non presenta quelle che lui chiama “tasche”, che per noi italiani sono normali e segno di autenticità della tappezzeria. In 50 anni di lavoro sulle auto d’epoca e ovviamente anche sulle Giulietta Spider non ci è mai capitato di vedere una tappezzeria originale senza la rientranza di vipla che vedete nelle foto e nel video.
