L’originale era in lana e devo dire che proponiamo una buona qualità di moquette in lana, in diversi colori ad un prezzo accessibile per un intero fondo di 17 pezzi di moquette in lana di ottima manifattura! The original carpet set for the Giulietta Sprint Speciale was of wool. Today here at Elvezio’s we produce this carpet set like the original with a very good quality wool carpet. The price is fair, since the number of pieces (17 pcs) and the good quality of the carpet. If you want to buy this carpet set in a good synthetic carpet this is possible, you also have this option paying less. The effect on the car is a little bit different and obviously it’s not the right fabric for the carpet set, but the price is little. You can check both clicking here.

Giulietta Sprint Moquette Sintetica e in Lana – Wool carpet and Synthetic Carpet

Quite a big number of our customers own a Alfa Romeo Giulietta Sprint or SS and many of them need to redo their carpet. If you are one of them, then this post is for you too! In the two picture above I compared the two carpets in the same dark red color: the wool carpet and the synthetic one. Both carpets are available for Giulietta Sprint and Giulietta SS. As you can see in the pictures the color is identical, what is changing is the consistence of the carpets and the price obviously! In fact, the synthetic carpet is thinner and the hair of it are shorter than the wool one. A.R. Giulia Ti 1 Serie Tappeti in Moquette – Carpet Set

Nelle prossime settimane questo fondo in moquette attraverserà l’Europa per raggiungere la Finlandia! Il nostro cliente, Kristian, lo ha ordinato per la sua A.R. Giulia Ti 1a serie del 1962 e per la realizzazione ha scelto il colore grigio. Il materiale con cui è stato prodotto è la moquette rekord, una buona moquette acrilica molto vicina all’originale e meno costosa della moquette in lana della Giulietta Sprint. Il modello del nostro amico ha il cambio al volante e pertanto non vedete alcun foro sulla parte centrale del tappeto. Kristian utilizzerà i suoi tappetini in gomma originali e li applicherà sulla moquette una volta arrivata in Finlandia. Nella foto sotto, la stessa moquette sembra di una tonalità più chiara. Questo dipende dal flash utilizzato per scattare la foto e solitamente alla luce, anche quella del sole, il colore sembra sempre più chiaro. Kristian, attendiamo le tue foto!

In the next weeks this carpet set will travel Europe to its final destination: Finland! Our customer Kristian ordered for his Alfa Romeo Giulia Ti  1962, 1st series. He chose the gray color for this carpet set. The material is the so called “Rekord moquette”, which is a synthetic carpet of a good quality very similar to the original and less expensive of a Giulietta Sprint wool carpet! If you do not see any hole for the gear, you are seeing right! In fact, Kristian owns a column shift car. The rubber mats will be installed on the carpet once in Finland, since Kristian will use his original rubber mats. In the picture below the same carpet look like of a lighter gray. The flash of my camera gave this effect and normally under the direct light this is the way the carpet more or less looks like. Kristian, send us some pics once the carpet has been installed!

Per rispondere alla domanda di uno dei nostri clienti su come montare i tappeti in moquette sulla ultima serie della Giulia Spider 1600 eccovi qualche foto. Il fondo in moquette prodotto da Elvezio è in diversi pezzi e va assemblato sull’autovettura. Basta guardare le foto per capire il gioco di sovrapposizione dei tappeti e che la parte centrale è sicuramente la prima a dover essere poggiata sul fondo della vettura. Le parti scoperte sono quelle dove vanno installati i sedili anteriori e pertanto l’effetto finale sarà diverso e potete vederlo nell’ultima foto di questo post.

This post is the answer to the question of one of our Swedish customers. How to install the carpet set of a 1600 Giulia Spider of 1963? Elvezio produces this carpet set in multiple pieces. Once you have it in your hand can be difficult to understand what goes where! There we are! The pictures helps more than anything else especially when the languages involved in the communication are more than one!  We can definitely tell that the puzzle starts with the central part and the other parts have to be adjusted on it.

As you can see there are some parts of the car that will be not covered from the carpet. In fact in that area we are going to install the front sets.
